Every year since I’ve been in Business, almost 12 years, a wonderful lady from Vancouver Island purchases a cute little mouse and I ship it to the UK to her friend ❤️

I’ve never met either one, but the whole process really warms my heart ❤️

There are so many unique experiences and behind the scenes happenings owning a Small Business, it’s ones like this that touch the ❤️

I absolutely live by this ❤️

Too many people try to perfect their home, and really what does ‘perfect’ mean

I love a home that is cozy and feels lived in ❤️

Just a friendly reminder to my new followers, we are Closed until April

I can’t believe I finally found time to get out

I can’t believe I finally found time to get out the sewing machine again

The last time I had it out we were in shutdown during Covid and I was making headbands for nurses

Now I’m patching up my overalls, my favourite piece of clothing, and sewing Sponsors on hockey jersey’s

I get so wrapped up in running my business, I often forget to take time for me

I know I’m not alone in this, it’s easy in this fast paced life, to forget about taking time for yourself

Taking time away from my business is not as easy as it sounds, I still continue to work every day, the difference is I can work at my own pace

Slowing down is hard to do, when you are use to go, go, go

I once had a friend say “the hardest thing is telling yourself, it’s okay to do nothing”

I’m working on that 😍

I hope you can also find the time to do nothing, or at least the time for you, doing what you love

Always find time to take care of YOU ❤️

I’ve been to a large Mall, big box stores, and to small town businesses

Didn’t buy a thing in the mall or big box stores, true story

BUT did make purchases in the Small town shops ❤️

I honestly wanted to tell those people in line at the big box stores to go shop small where they’ll find better gifts, friendly service, no big lines, their purchases wrapped or in a nice bag

Seriously #smallbusiness is the way to go, and you are Supporting a Family who appreciates you
